I CHALLENGE YOU TO A DUEL

Mon Apr 27, 2009, 5:52 PM
Well, not really...

But I do challenge you, the reader of this journal entry, too shoot without the advantage of digital camera, on your digital camera. That means no aperture/time value priority mode or auto focus. You shouldn't even review your images (though I cheated a bit on that one). Oh, and one more thing, if you shoot raw, dont, shoot b/w jpgs instead. That what you have to get your images right. Tough? It is a bit but if you love photography, you'll have fun doing it. Also if your like me and learned how to take photos on a digital camera, you'll probably gain a newfound appreciation for all the old pros who shot(and sometimes still shoot film) and learn a thing or two too.Anyway, good Luck, and dont forget to post a link to your photo in the comments, so I can see all your hard work.

Happy Snapping!

it is called putting your camera on manual mode...that is how i normally shoot....but that sounds like a really cool test to see if you can use a film camera...it helps that you learnt on a film camera first:P anyway i might possibly attempt that

if it were impossible to fail
