I don't know why this guy looks very ,very pissed off. I'm not sure, but I think he was trying to sell this dog. As you can see, he doesn't have very many customers, I wonder why?
Wonderful shot oh my word! It's quite a photo of character and culture. What I also like besides the great capture of the man's expression, is the bikes in the background.
It's a very good example of splendid photography. And in going through your gallery, I find a lot of your photos to be at that level as well. You have amazing work and I admire it greatly!

I think iBlugirl summed it up very well on the aspect of character & culture.
However (and I hope you don't me saying this), I'm not a big fan of the tone you've given to the image (reddish/brownish/whatever-colour-that-is). Maybe it's just a tad too much for me. Anyway, that's just me.
But still, don't let me take anything away from you. It's a brilliant image. Period! Fav-ed it.
I don't mind you saying that at all. I’m very happy you are open enough to express your opinions I choose this sort of reddish tone because I wanted to convey a sense of anger and hostility. But maybe you are correct, it does seem a bit over the top [at the time I was doing I was thinking it was just under the limit I could push the toning]. What do you suggest? Should I desaturate a bit? or change the toning colour to something more subtle

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

Yeah people are pretty rough to the dogs there, its not uncommon to see them being kicked or pulled hard on their leashes.
